Pea Guacamole and Tangy Garbanzo Dip

Two more McDougall recipes for today. First, Pea Guacamole:

I actually really like this recipe. It didn’t need any doctoring and was great on chips, rice cakes, veggies, and rice. It was also good mixed with some salsa since it didn’t originally have any tomatoes in it. The texture was different than guac with avocados but I thought it was a really clever low fat way to do guacamole. Yum! Definitely going into the favorites list…

Second, Tangy Garbanzo Dip:

This, on the other hand, was nasty. I did not like it at all and thought the agave/ginger/garbanzo bean mixture didn’t work together. The texture was a bit weird; which I think is due to the fact that it was fat free. Would not ever make this again.
