With it being so incredibly hot lately, Ben and I have been looking for ways to cool down. One such way was this blender frozen yogurt recipe. I got the idea here and happened to have some yogurt in the fridge, so I whipped some up! I used strawberries and blueberries, but you could use any fruit you have laying around!
1 – 4 oz container So Delicious Coconut Vanilla yogurt
1 1/2 C Frozen strawberries (or any fruit)
1/4 C fresh Blueberries (optional, you could just use frozen fruit)
Place all ingredients in a blender. If you can, blend ingredients together until a smooth mixture forms. You may need to add water as needed, I added about 3 Tbs.
You can enjoy the frozen yogurt right then if you want, though it will be kind of more like a really thick smoothie than frozen yogurt. OR you can freeze for a few hours until it solidifies and then enjoy. OR if you’re lazy like me you can leave it in the freezer until you remember it’s there, then let it sit at room temperature for ~10 minutes until you can dig in! I had it all three ways and it’s good no matter what!
Makes 2 large servings.
